I said that I wasn't going to do this. I said that, for me, it was a silly idea because I would never keep up with it and nobody would really be interested anyway. Well, as you can see, I've done it anyway. I needed something to kick my ass about writing, and I decided the best way to do it was to try and organize everything in one place. Now, granted, I have accounts on fanfiction.net and mediaminer.org; but I've gotten a little tired of how arbitrary those sites have gotten lately. I also don't like that the formatting I want on my stories goes to hell when I upload.
So. Since I am website design illierate and, quite frankly, don't have the time or inclinition to learn, I figured here was as good a place as any to put stuff. So, that's it; and here we go.
In honor of its one year anniversary and to get this writing journal started, I give you Iris
ETA: I realized when I got home that I hadn't really given anyone any idea what this story was about, so I figure on doing it now. This one is I guess what you would call an introspective vignette. Told in Inuyasha's POV, it's his thoughts on his friends and their situation while watching Kagome sleep. It was just my little attempt to show that there is more going on between those cute little ears than the "fight," food," "Jewel shards," and "Huh?" characterizations that seem so rampant in the fandom.
